Capitals Pull Out a Must Win. Ovechkin Hits 60!
March 24, 2008
Unbelievable comeback by the Capitals in the 3rd period of a must win game over Atlanta lead by Alex, the Great.
Down 1-3 at the end of 2 periods the Capitals lay siege to the Atlanta net for the whole 3rd period and come away with a 5-3 win despite incredible goaltenting by the Thrashers’ Kari Lehtonen.
Alex Ovechkin scores 2 goals and reaches the elite 60 goals plateau (first time any player scored 60 in one season in 12 years!) while adding 2 primary assists, as well, for a total of 4 points in this game.

I think the KHL would be great to watch. Would like to see the day when the League rivals the NHL. Of all the players in the World I enjoy watching the Rusian style of play the best…
